Spend Your Summer on the Lake
Local residents outside the boundaries of our association can join the Truesdale Estates Association as seasonal associate members. This allows the Associate Member and their immediate family to use our beach on Truesdale Lake Drive during the summer season. We also have several events during the season and into September which all members are invited to.
Each season we are able to invite up to 30 associate member families to join our beach for the summer season. Memberships are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, with returning members given right of first refusal. Invitations to join are mailed in April for the summer season.
The beach is a wonderful place to meet other neighborhood families. The social events are always well attended!
Associate members are given access to the beach and dock area, but are not permitted to store boats on any TEA property. TEA Associate memberships are not permanent, nor do they confer any deeded lake rights on the associate member or their property.
The summer season runs from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Beach hours are weekend only until school ends for the year (usually the last weekend in June). During the remainder of the summer, hours are 11am-7pm (weather and treatment permitting – see website for announcements).

Family and Social Events
Each summer the beach opens on Memorial Day weekend. There is a free summer kickoff party that is open to all members (usually held) the second weekend in June.
On the second Saturday in September, we host the annual TEA Clambake/Lobsterfest. This one is for the adults and is quite popular each year. It features music, dancing, your choice of lobster, steak, or chicken, plenty of potatoes, steamers, topped off with BYO drinks and dessert.
The beach is also available for parties. Check with the beach chairperson for reservation details and additional lifeguard requirements.
