The classic lake management book ‘Diet for a Small Lake’ has been made available as a FREE pdf download. Originally published in 1990 — this is theÂ 2009 edition which is the latest update.
The physical book is published at cost – hardcover is $25 and paperback copies sell for $15 if you want something to hold on to (order form here). The publication is 318 pages and chock full of useful information for homeowners and other stakeholders in the lake area. This pdf version of it contains the whole book.
Christian Jenne is a Masters Degree candidate at SUNY Oneonta’s Lake Management program. He is working with us at Truesdale Lake during his graduate studies to develop a Lake Management plan to help guide our lake stewardship efforts.
Last night (June 18th) he presented to a packed audience at the South Salem Presbyterian Church on Spring Street. If you were not able to make it, we have posted the slide images below along with a PDF document of the presentation.
Christian is also working on a survey to gather data about Lake Truesdale that will be sent out at the end of the summer or early fall. When you see it in your inbox or mailbox, please help out by answering and returning the survey. Thanks!
