A recent article in The Journal News (6/21/05 on page B1) discusses permitting problems for weed control in New York State.
Glenn Sullivan, president of Allied Biological (our weed treatment company) is quoted. Gary Struve from our Lake Management Committee is also quoted.
A main focus is the increasingly onerous (and expensive) permitting process. It is primarily about Lake Katonah which seems to be in much worse shape than Lake Truesdale.
