A new group of residents has recently taken over actively oiling goose eggs on the three big islands of Lake Truesdale for spring 2020. A number of residents have been actively oiling goose eggs on the islands of Lake Truesdale since 2008 to control the population of Resident Canada Geese on the lake. But the existing crew of people trained to oil eggs it has shrunk over the years — and we need more people to step up.
