The last race weekend of the season started with a light, then puffy, then moderate, then puffy wind. It was classic Lake Truesdale wind, coming from all sides and then from none. Jack was last across the start line but recognized a change in wind direction that powered him back into the pack. Ira caught a good wind along the east side of the lake and powered into the lead for a few buoys. Jack overtook him in the end for the win. Mark, Skip and Ray crossed just ahead of Alan (who had crewmember Max aboard!). Rob, Mike D, and Mike G battled it out at the end with Rob finding the gusts at the finish line to cross in front of Mike D then Mike G | |
