Wind speed was very light beginning this race. Up at the North buoy the wind seemed to be coming from all directions. that straightened out and the first loop was marked by lulls and puffs, pushing ahead one skipper, then another. The second loop had much better air all around. Mark was ahead at the first buoy and never looked back. Skip continued his great start, edging out Jack to gain second. Mike and Laz traded spots several times. Rob even got ahead of them at one point, but in the end it was Mike, Laz, then Rob. | |
