Sunfish Fleet #27Lake Management : Lake Treatment Date Moved to May 30th Due to Heavy Rains
The weed treatment originally scheduled for Monday, May 22nd has been moved to Tuesday, May 30th due to the heavy rains.
The NY State DEC requires treated waters to be held back 7-14 days after treatment to allow the herbicides time to disperse. Holding back the water also increases the effectiveness of the weed treatment.
The current water flow is to intense to allow the additional boards in the dam to hold back the water for the required time.
The treatment will use Aquathol-K only.
