Avast! Treatment May 17th

The lake was treated by Allied Biological on May 17th, 2004 with Avast! (see detailed information in downloads section). This is an expensive yet effective herbicide. It may take a while but it will bring down the weed growth in the lake.
Note to anyone still using fertilizer on the lake: STOP!!! Whatever fertilizer you use just ends up in the lake and does a great job fertilizing the weeds! Plant water-friendly gardens to act as buffers to any runoff you have from your yard. A list of plants that fit this description can be found on the website by searching on "plantings."
