The lake will be treated with Copper Sulfate (to combat Algae growth) on the following tentative schedule for the rest of the summer (updated July 22nd): August 2, August 16, August 30th (every other Monday).
These dates are weather-dependent. Heavy rain will cancel or postpone the treatment. If weather forces a postponement, the lake will be treated the following Monday.
No swimming in the lake for 24 hours after treatment. Yellow signs will be posted at every property bordering the lake per New York State law.
