[...] In response to earlier efforts to saw through the spillway boards, TLPOA volunteers installed metal shielding over the wooden board installation that has been used for over 70 years to regulate the water level in Truesdale Lake. The vandals were at it again recently as volunteers discovered attempts to pry back the metal protecting [...] [...] Allied Biological treated the lake with Copper Sulfate today to stem late summer algae growth. Please observe posted signs about irrigation and bathing. [...] Three houses have been robbed in South Salem over the past week including a house on Route 35 and Spring Street.
